In this policy, "Fieldcroft", "we" and "us" mean that business. The policy applies to the website, to the request form embedded in it, and to the calls, emails and texts that follow a request.
Details the form collects
On the form. The request form asks for your full name, phone number, email address and the name of your business, has three required pick-lists (time in business, an annual revenue range and a requested amount range), and records whether you agree to be contacted. That is the full list. Revenue and the amount appear only as ranges; the form does not ask about credit, bank accounts or tax numbers.
On the phone. When we call, you decide what to share about the business and the reason you are looking at funding. Notes from the call stay with your request.
From your browser. Each page load sends routine technical data, such as IP address, browser and device type and the page that referred you, which hosting and security services log.
Why we use those details
Fieldcroft uses what you send to answer the request you made, to talk through what the money is for and which kinds of funding could suit it, and, if you decide to go ahead, to pass the request to a lending partner. The same details let us keep a record of the consent you gave or withdrew and of when we called or texted. Technical data helps trace faults and stop automated abuse of the form.
Fieldcroft does not sell the personal details owners send it.
Sharing with lending partners
A request goes to a lending partner only after you tell us you want a partner to look at it. That partner receives what it needs to start a review, normally the form details plus what you told us on the call. From then on the partner handles those details under its own privacy policy and may contact you directly. Because Fieldcroft is not a lender, any application, credit review or request for documents after that point belongs to the partner.
Other companies that handle data for us
A few outside services work with your details on our behalf: the company that hosts the website, the provider that runs the embedded request form and stores what you type into it, and the services that carry our calls, email and texts.
We may also disclose information when a law or a valid legal demand requires it, or to protect people or property. If the business is ever sold or merged, records about requests could pass to the new owner.
